Great Place For Coffee and Cakes

Last week we cycled to Petersham Nurseries, a very posh garden centre just by the river near Richmond with a fab cafe serving amazing cakes. It's also home to a restaurant, where the head chef is Skye Gyngell. The menu looked great, but was very expensive, especially as it's only open for lunch. However, given the wealthy neighbourhood, I'm sure it's very popular.

I reckon you should stick to the cafe. I can certainly recommend the lemon poppyseed cake.
